What’s Next? #1

What's Next? Hosted by IceyBooks

What’s Next is a Meme hosted by Iceybooks where we let our readers and friends choose which books we are going to read next.

I have done something similar to this before but I thought it would be cool to link this to another blog to share in the joy.

So .. Here are my choices.

Pip Bartlett's Guide to Magical Creatures (Pip Bartlett, #1)Pip is a girl who can talk to magical creatures. Her aunt is a vet for magical creatures. And her new friend Tomas is allergic to most magical creatures. When things go amok—and they often go amok—Pip consults Jeffrey Higgleston’s Guide to Magical Creatures, a reference work that Pip finds herself constantly amending. Because dealing with magical creatures like unicorns, griffins, and fuzzles doesn’t just require book knowledge—it requires hands-on experience and thinking on your feet. For example, when fuzzles (which have an awful habit of bursting into flame when they’re agitated) invade your town, it’s not enough to know what the fuzzles are—Pip and Tomas also must trace the fuzzles’ agitation to its source, and in doing so, save the whole town.

We All Looked Up

Before the asteroid we let ourselves be defined by labels:
The athlete, the outcast, the slacker, the overachiever.

But then we all looked up and everything changed.

They said it would be here in two months. That gave us two months to leave our labels behind. Two months to become something bigger than what we’d been, something that would last even after the end.

Two months to really live.

Finding Audrey

An anxiety disorder disrupts fourteen-year-old Audrey’s daily life. She has been making slow but steady progress with Dr. Sarah, but when Audrey meets Linus, her brother’s gaming teammate, she is energized. She connects with him. Audrey can talk through her fears with Linus in a way she’s never been able to do with anyone before. As their friendship deepens and her recovery gains momentum, a sweet romantic connection develops, one that helps not just Audrey but also her entire family.

So, let me know what you guys want to hear about! When I do this meme now, I will guarantee the review within the next two weeks so I won’t make you all wait like I have been for the new releases! So, vote below and you will hear about your book choice soon!

I was really excited to get an advanced copy! I will put up a post as soon as I read it! 🙂 Shopaholic is a guilty pleasure of mine so I am hoping I like it just as much.
